Q: How many schools do you have offers from? From Whom?
A: I think I have 8 or 9. Kentucky, Georgetown, Stanford, Cal, and a couple other schools.
Q: Do you have an official offer from Kentucky?
A: No I do not.
Q: How have you felt about the recruiting process so far? Has it been fun, stressful.. How would you describe it?
A: It’s been good. It’s fun. It’s been a good experience for me.
Q: Are there any frontrunners in your recruiting process? Any schools that have stood out to you?
A: No, they are probably all about equal now.
Q: Do you have a timetable of when you will be making your decision?
A: Probably around this time next year.
Q: How have you handled the pressure of being a top recruit in the 2017 class?
A: I just try to keep getting better each day and then I wanna make it to the next level hopefully.
Q: How old were you when you started playing basketball? Who was your main influence in starting to play?
A: I was 3 years years old.
Q: What are your goals for the future, not only in high school, but beyond that?
A: One day, I can see myself in the NBA, but while I’m in highschool, I wanna get into college, play a year or two there, then make it to the NBA.
Q: How have your friends and family influenced you throughout your basketball career?
A: They’re always around so, they’re a strong influence. They don’t really care about where I go, but I know they’ll be supportive when I decide.
Q: Have you played any other sports besides basketball? If so, how has playing those other sports helped you as a basketball player?
A: No.
Q: How has playing with the Indy Hoosiers, your AAU team, helped you improve your game?
A: I think it’s helped a lot, playing with them. I think playing with them has got me better.
Q: What do you feel is the biggest strength in your game?
A: Probably attacking the bucket.
Q: What part of your game do you most want to work on? How do you plan on improving those skills?
A: I want to work on getting to the three more. I plan to improve by just staying at school and in the gym.
Q: Do you have any pregame routines?
A: No. I just pray.
Q: What would you say is your greatest achievement so far?
A: Probably just being smart. Not just on the court, but also in the classroom.
Q: How do you balance school and sports?
A: School comes first obviously, so I get all my work out of the way, then I don’t play until after that.
Q: Do you know what you would like to major in, in college yet?
A: No. I do not.
Q: Is there any player that you model your game after? What player are you most compared to?
A: There is nobody that I try to model my game after. I really like Kevin Durant though.
Q: What obstacles have you had to overcome to get to where you are today?
A: Nothing really
Q: What motivates you to continue to pursue your goals as a basketball player?
A: Just the achievements, what I can get out of it.
